Goa egg curry Recipe

Egg Curry, you all have eaten many times but the taste of this special egg curry from Goa is very different from that. Make a special combination of three ingredients, Goa's special egg curry. To make this you need special coconut cream, tamarind and poppy. Try this special dish of Goa once at home.

Ingredients of Goa Ag Curry


  •     1/2 cup coconut cream

  •     1 table spoon tamarind paste

  •     2-3 green chilies (cut off)

  •     2 tablespoon cumin seeds, roasted

  •     2-4 whole dry red chilies, roasted

  •     2 tablespoon coriander seeds, roasted

  •     1 table spoon poppy, roasted

  •     3/4 cup coconut, grater

  •     6 bud garlic

  •     2 tsp ginger, finely chopped

  •     1/4 cup of oil

  •     2 cups onions, finely chopped

  •     8-10 Curry Leaf

  •     2 cups tomato, grated

  •     1 tsp garam masala

  •     1 tsp turmeric

  •     1.5 Table spoon salt

  • 6 boiled eggs

  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves, cut into pieces






Goa Egg Curry Making

First, fry the coconut, garlic and ginger and prepare the paste. Then heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions and curry leaves

Fry it until the onion turns to light brown color.

After this add tomatoes and fry it. When the mixture starts releasing the oil from the edge, add paste, garam masala, turmeric and salt to it and fry it.

When the mixture starts releasing the oil from the side again, then add two cups of water to it. Once boiling, lighten the flame for eight to ten minutes and leave it lightly.

After 10 minutes add coconut cream and tamarind pulp into it. Boil the mixer and let it lighten the flame for two to three minutes

Then peel the boiled eggs in it. Serve grinning with coriander leaves.
